Europe's foremost Americana Festival. Run by none other that Chris Jackson, this is the place to be if you want to rock out to an international line up of stars (and I mean STARS) whilst surrounded by some stunning American Cars, Bikes and Trucks. You won't find a better Festival and Doggone are honoured to be appearing there this year.
This place is cool. Wayne The Train Hancock, Wanda Jackson, Imelda May and, yes I am never tiered of saying it, DALE WATSON have played this venue. There is a great mix of generes, and you'll always find something on the list that makes your ears prick up. Dale Watson is back in August (and we are excited to be opening the show for him) and Wayne The Train Hancock will be there the night before. Below the venue is a great looking place called The Kings Head, check it out!
A great Festival in its second year. This time around, there is a fantastic line-up for the Battle of the Bands plus some great headline acts (Including Doggone of course) This Festival will fast become one of the top events in the British Country Music Calendar.
Want to go to Texas in under 4 hours? Then you need to find this place in the middle of Southern Germany. Bill & Marianne have made this Honkytonk a real gem and you will find a line up of international country music stars along with the best of what Europe has to offer. A brilliant atmosphere, great food and beer. (Did I mention we played there with Dale Watson??) Yehaaa!
Not many places can boast to have managed to feed Doggone untill we could eat no more!! The night after our show there, we set off with a large platter of ribs and other goodies to keep us going until we reached Germany. Close to Brussel Airport, at HJ's you will not only find great food but an ever increasing line-up of (good) american country artists. Only 2 hours from Calais, well worth a trip.
If you live in Kent, or the surrounding counties, well even if you live in Scottland, - This is the place to visit. Shaun and his Team have made this saloon a friendly welcoming venue for country music. Step through the doors and you are transported to a Honkytonk straight out of Route 66.
